Homefit Healthcare Services is founded and led by Mahdi Mohaqiq, Ph.D., a Registered Nurse in Ontario with professional experience at The Ottawa Hospital and community services in palliative program. In addition to his clinical nursing background, Mahdi holds a PhD in Anatomical Sciences and has completed postdoctoral research training in the United States and Canada. His combined experience in patient care, academic research, and healthcare has shaped Homefit’s commitment to providing services that are compassionate, professional, and guided by high standards of care.

His experience working directly with patients and families, together with his extensive academic and research background, inspired the creation of Homefit Healthcare Services — bringing the principles of dignity, safety, compassion, professionalism, and evidence-informed care into the community.
